Thanks Dave for the list! We will have to have a pow-wow as we did before for the racing side of things as we can then spread ourselves across a few races (some of us will be flying from the start of the season, eh Weave?) to suit fitness and individual targets.
As for the social list, did you have a cold when you wrote ‘climbobbbikes’? Maybe a nasal spray of the Vic variety may help you get to climbonbikes. That may be one I can’t do . . . .
I can hear cries of, ‘Of course you can Malcolm’ from all who remember the advert!
I’d agree with that. If we have a get together and decide roughly who will be where doing what it saves having entries sent back and helps with organizing non cycling activities.
Definitely up for a get together to see what everyone’s plans/goals are for next year. Soon be time to fill in all those entries and sign all those cheques!!!
This coming Sunday we have “The Autumn Challenge Ride” presented by Climb-On-Bikes.
There two distances on offer i.e. a 49 mile route and a 38 mile route, £5 entry fee where £1 will be donated to St Michael’s Hospice, sign on from 9am to 9.30am. Free refreshments and food at the finish.
So obviously it would be great to have you guys come along and join us on this ride if you can make it. Also a nice chance to have a good social get together and nodoubt laugh at each other’s mud splattered faces.
Some of us may want to throw a couple of early season Team Time-Trials in to the list above just to get the lungs open again for the racing season. I am up for a few if they do not require too much time in the car to get there. Sounds like the Wheelers are having an early season lung-buster so I will keep in contact with them over these type of events.

I’ll have to ask Fluff who Malcom is!
Isn’t Malcolm a new club memeber and Chris is just encouraging him to have a go ?

Bye for now,
