Hi Grah.
Just wondering if you were planning on doing the circuits at Shrewsbury this Saturday?
My thinking is that if I can race twice in a weekend then what the hell. I’m up for it as long as it doesn’t chuck it down all day. Give that brother of yours a poke as well and we’ll have a strong group! The Morro’s are both tokenless I believe, so we’ll be expecting big attacks at COB on Sunday!
Racing both days in the weekend just ain’t gonna fly at Casa Morris I’m afraid!
Might be on for one or two of those Cheltenham Friday nighters though…
Good luck for Saturday though Charl.
Hi Charler
We are moving house over the weekend and when I suggested I could ‘pop’ over to Shrewsbury to race, Mrs Coach was not happy so that counts me out mate. Dunno what Dave is up to but again I think passes are getting harder to come by
Pity really, I fancied a good blast
Good luck mate hope you get up there again
No problems mate. Cycling puts too much strain on relationships, I think we should give it up…. relationships that is!!
The plan is to take a sharp left before you get to Shrewsbury town centre for a ’shopping’ trip, then take off your coat to reveal full kit! Opps, how did that happen, ah well, now we’re here, I’ll only be an hour!
Sorry can’t do Saturday, will save the legs for Sunday’s tear up!
Hi Guys
Do to an extended period of overseas work I will not be able to ride this years Tour of Pembrokeshire on 7 June. If anybody fancies taking my place just let me know.
115 mile hilly with a few fast corners. Beware the gold standard is a tough challenge.
The website gives more details. Last year (the first event) was good; 25C and perfect weather to see my home county!
Regards
Ceri
Hi all. I managed to bag 8th place (i think, not seen the results yet). Felt like a tough day today with a strong, blustery wind taking its toll. 3 riders got away early and managed to stay away for about 40 mins, but with a strong field from Wolverhampton and Hales it always seemed like they’d get caught. There must have been an attack every lap as riders tried to bridge the gap and half way through I was hanging on for dear life, but hang on I did and managed to get into a good position for the sprint. Unfortunately there was a big carve up in front of me on the final bends and one poor guy flew over the bars as he hit the tump of grass that is in the middle of the circuit. After a bump up the backside I managed to restart my sprint and pick off a couple of riders to get 8th (I hope). Feet up now and get ready for the morning. See you all at the race tomorrow.
Hope this wind dies down!
Charler, excellent stuff, well done mate. See you in the morning, lets hope we get someone up there
Excellent news charler! Congrats on your 7th place and your 3rd Cat license, definitely made real progress this year already
