Autumn Epic Test Ride Anyone?

Anyone up for a test ride of 50-60 miles of the Epic route this Sunday (21st)?  The idea will be to meet up in Knighton and test ride the new opening section over Kerry Ridgeway, then on to AbbeyCwmHir, and return via PenyPont.  Could even insert a cafe stop

Team Turn Out !!! Trans Cambrian Sportive

Anyone up for the Trans Cambrian Sportive on the 7th September 2008. This event gets some fantastic reviews and is worthy of a look !! Quite local for us too

I realise that the Devil ride and the Autumn Epic will be a priority but I feel this may allow for us all to participate as Phil and organisation team will be busy at shop events !!!

RACE !!

Just a quick note to anyone who fancies stepping up from Sportives to do a race

I’ve done 4 road races so far this year, mainly to put a bit of speed in my legs for my Sportives and was pleasantly surprised that I lived to tell the tale. I’ve done 2 ‘League International’ handicapped RR, 1 x ‘league of veterans’ RR and a ‘British Cycling’ RR so far. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience, it’s over 25yrs since I’d done any RR’s, although the BC is a little expensive compared to the other two.

There is a ‘league of Vets’ RR on 21/9/08 at Martley if anyone over 40yrs fancies a quick end of season local blast !! The closing date is 7/9/08 although entries will be taken on-line if there isn’t a full field
