No can do soz boys, away for the weekend. Could use a rest anyway, Simon’s been tearing my legs off for the last few weeks and they are not recovering very well! It’s feet up for me! Have a great ride and I hope you stay dry!
You’ll notice the route heads out towards Ludlow again due to my complete lack of knowledge of the roads around the shop!
Pretty flat until we get to Stanton Lacy, where there’s a long climb up to Downton Hall. Then we drop back down to the main Ludlow/Clee Hill road, where we start to climb up again through Snitton to Knowbury. I haven’t actually ridden that stretch before so if anyone knows how hard it is, let me know!
After that we start to roll back downwards into Tenbury and back to the shop. Fingers crossed it won’t be too wet
See you tomorrow!
Quick thanx to Matt, a lovely route, testing yet very enjoyable
Even enjoyed the “agricutural” lane or two, especially as I wasn’t on my own bike !!Sorry Lincoln ;-(
P.S. I did offer to clean !
See most of you next Sunday on the start line of the Gran Fondo
Any idea what time people are planning to start ?
Thanks Matt for a great ride out, “even the hills”, and thanks for the tow home.
Those lads were really shifting at the end.
Thanks fellas, really enjoyed it - sorry again for the ‘frost-damaged’ road! One to remember though eh?
Yes thanks Matt for organising the ride.
I always enjoy riding with you guys, a real nice bunch and we always manage to have a good ride and a bit of a laugh together.
As I discoverd one and a half bottles of wine the night before is not a good idea !, I think the term is “well jaded”.
Remind me to bring wellintons next time (only joking Matt), frost damage !, I think you boy’s need to have a word with the Council.
Hopefully see you on the next one.
Bye for now,
Robin.
