Ludlow 2up TT
Last week it was a meet up outside the entrance to the Park and Ride in Ludlow (next to Sheet Island on the A49) at 7pm…this week?

Timing is eveything ! Gran Fondo
Reference above, What time is everyone looking to cross the start line, this coming Sunday ?
Can I suggest about 8am – 8.30am, and everyone throw their hat in the ring, to see what time we decide on 
I realise we will split up early doors, but it will be nice meeting up again, before us lemmings rush over the cliff face :-)

Social Ride – 17th May
Next social ride starts from Epic Cycles at 10am (for coffee) on Saturday 17th. Matt will be leading the ride, which is around 35-40 miles, with tea and coffee back at the shop afterwards. Details are on the Epic Cycles Social Rides page.

More sportives anyone?
So, after the runaway success of the Forest of Dean outing – where next? Chris and I fancy the Gran Fondo Cymru on 25th May, if we can fit it in our family diaries, but you need to be quick to enter as it closes on 16th May. Other local-ish events in the next couple of months include the Iron Mountain on 21st June and Wyre Forest Stinger on 6th July. Anyone doing any of these or planning to do any others in the next few weeks?
Update: As sportives are proving such a hit with club folks I have added a permanent page listing events people are attending or thinking about – see “sportive outings” on the menu bar under the banner at the top of the site…

Road race venture
Hi all,
Just picking your brains, I fancy an experimental venture into road racing ! I have raced as a junior and 1st year senior, however everything was in black and white back in the day ;-( Sportives are keeping me happy and motivated but still tempted by the challenge. LVRC seem the best option for me (old git) and I expect to do some speed work on the turbo ;-( Can anyone please give some “pearls” that may help ?

Beat the Burway
Anybody got any plans for a ride on Sunday? Simon and myself are thinking of incorporating the Burway into a reasonably long ride in the morning. Sounds like you boys are going to need to get some miles in your legs for the GFC… which I will be on holiday for! Shame, shame 
Here is the proposed route. Meet at the Sheet Road roundabout, Ludlow at 9am.
